Best Free Photo Editing Software: Gimp Image Manipulator

I’ve tried just about every free image editing software out there. Not one of them filled the bill for my needs, until I found Gimp. This is the only freeware I know of that can work with PNG images, and gif’s, delete layers, add layers, create and edit transparent backgrounds, save as any file type, including ico (which is important for making favicon’s). read more
